Commercial Electrical Contractors Serving the Front Range

When a business needs commercial electrical work done correctly the first time, the license number matters. All Electric holds CO License #ME.0600978, carries full insurance, and backs every job with a one-year labor warranty. If you're searching for commercial electrical contractors in the Front Range area and want a team that shows up on schedule and works to code, call (720) 951-4619 to get started.

Commercial electrical work is not a category where shortcuts hold up, inspectors catch them, insurance adjusters flag them, and the next contractor you hire has to undo them at your expense. Our electricians handle commercial wiring, panel work, lighting installations, dedicated circuits, and electrical code violation corrections from the first rough-in through final inspection. Scope, building age, panel capacity, and permit requirements all affect project cost. Every job is different, contact All Electric for an accurate estimate.

What We Handle

Commercial Electrical Services We Provide

From tenant build-outs to lighting retrofits, these are the scopes our licensed team handles regularly.

01

Commercial Wiring

New construction wiring, tenant improvement rough-ins, and panel-to-panel distribution runs. Every installation follows NEC standards and local code requirements, no guesswork, no skipped inspections.

02

Lighting Installation

Interior and exterior lighting installation for retail, office, and light industrial spaces. LED retrofits, occupancy-controlled switching, and emergency egress lighting all fall within scope.

03

Panel Upgrades and Service

Undersized or aging commercial panels create real liability. We assess existing capacity, size the replacement correctly, and pull the required permits before touching the equipment.

04

Dedicated Circuit Installation

Commercial kitchens, server rooms, HVAC equipment, and high-draw appliances all require dedicated and appliance circuits sized to their actual load. Not to what was convenient when the building was first wired.

05

HOA and Property Management Electrical

Common-area lighting, EV charger circuits, and tenant electrical repairs for property managers and HOAs. We work directly with HOA electrical service coordinators to keep properties up to standard.

06

Code Violation Corrections

Failed inspections, insurance-required remediation, and pre-sale electrical corrections. We document the deficiency, correct it to current code, and provide the written verification your insurer or inspector needs.

Why Businesses Choose All Electric

Nine years in the trade. A 4.9-star rating across 468 Google reviews. A one-year warranty on labor. Those aren't marketing claims. They're the record. Founder Daniel Vargas holds CO License #ME.0600978 as an Electrical Contractor qualified by a Master Electrician, which means the person responsible for your project has the credential that backs the work. We don't subcontract commercial jobs to whoever's available that week. The team that scopes your project is the team that completes it. That matters most when the schedule is tight and you can't afford a miscommunication between a salesperson and a crew. Financing is available for qualifying commercial projects. How It Works

Our Commercial Project Process

  1. Step 1: Site Assessment

We evaluate existing electrical infrastructure, identify code compliance gaps, and define scope before quoting. No estimates built on assumptions.

  2. Step 2: Permitted Installation

We pull all required permits, coordinate with inspectors, and complete the installation on a schedule that respects your business operations.

  3. Step 3: Inspection and Closeout

We stay through final inspection and provide documentation of the completed work. The job isn't done until the inspector signs off.

Commercial Electrical Work Requires More Than a Residential License

Residential wiring experience doesn't automatically transfer to commercial settings. Voltage classes differ, 120V to 277V circuits are common in commercial lighting and HVAC applications, and wiring methods that pass residential inspection don't meet NEC Article 300 requirements for commercial occupancies. An electrician who's never worked past 120V residential circuits shouldn't be the one quoting your tenant improvement. All Electric's team is trained and licensed for commercial-scope work. We've handled electrical troubleshooting in occupied commercial spaces where killing a circuit means stopping a business. That's a different pressure than a residential service call, and our process accounts for it. Honestly, if a contractor can't describe the occupancy classification that applies to your building, that's a signal worth acting on.

Commercial Electrical: Common Questions

Not answered here? Call (720) 951-4619 and ask the electrician.

What's the difference between a commercial and residential electrical contractor?
Commercial electrical work involves different wiring methods, voltage classes, and code requirements than residential. NEC Article 300 governs commercial wiring methods, and occupancy classifications determine which standards apply. Commercial panels often carry 208V or 480V three-phase power rather than the 120/240V single-phase common in homes. A contractor licensed for residential work isn't automatically qualified for commercial scope, verify the license covers the occupancy type before hiring.
Do you pull permits for commercial electrical work?
Yes, always. Unpermitted commercial electrical work creates real problems: failed inspections during sale or refinance, voided insurance coverage, and personal liability if something goes wrong. We pull the required permits, schedule inspections, and provide documentation of the completed, inspected work. There's no scenario where skipping the permit process saves money in the long run.
What commercial electrical services does All Electric handle?
We handle commercial wiring for tenant improvements and new construction, panel upgrades, lighting installations including LED retrofits and emergency egress systems, dedicated circuits for high-draw equipment, AC and heating circuits, electrical troubleshooting in occupied spaces, and code violation corrections. We also work with property management companies and HOAs on common-area electrical. Industrial-scale projects outside the light commercial range aren't our scope.
How much does commercial electrical work cost?
Commercial electrical project costs vary based on building size, existing infrastructure condition, scope of work, permit requirements, and whether the space is occupied during the project. A straightforward lighting retrofit in a small office runs significantly less than a full panel upgrade and circuit redistribution for a restaurant. We won't quote a number that doesn't reflect your actual project. Every job is different, contact All Electric for an accurate estimate.
What voltage circuits do you install for commercial applications?
We install and service 120V to 277V circuits across commercial applications. 277V single-phase is standard for commercial fluorescent and LED lighting; 208V three-phase feeds commercial HVAC, kitchen equipment, and larger motor loads. Correct circuit sizing and breaker selection matters. An undersized circuit feeding commercial refrigeration or HVAC equipment will trip repeatedly and shorten equipment life. We size it to the actual load, not the nearest round number.
Do you work with property management companies and HOAs?
Yes. We have a dedicated track for property management and HOA electrical work, including common-area lighting, tenant electrical repairs, EV charger circuit installation, and code compliance corrections. We understand that property managers need reliable scheduling and clear documentation for their records. Our team communicates directly with your maintenance coordinator and provides written summaries of completed work.
