Chapter

Chapter 01: Panels & Service Entrance

Most of our work starts at the panel. Upgrades from 100 to 200 amps, full replacements, sub-panels, breakers, and the meter loop and service mast outside, with the permit pulled and the city inspection scheduled by us.

  • Federal Pacific and Zinsco panels replaced, not patched
  • Meter work coordinated with Xcel Energy
  • Permit and inspection handled for you

Chapter 02: EV Charging & Standby Power

Level 2 chargers for Tesla, Ford, GM, and every other make, and whole-house standby generators sized to the home they back up. Both put a large new load on the panel, so both start with a load calculation.

  • NEMA 14-50 outlet or a hardwired Level 2 unit
  • Transfer switch wired between panel and generator
  • Chargers that stopped charging, diagnosed

Chapter 03: Circuits & Dedicated Lines

A new appliance, a hot tub, a shop tool, or an RV in the driveway usually needs a circuit of its own. We size the wire and breaker to the load and to code, from 120V branch circuits up to 240V and 277V.

  • 30-amp and 50-amp RV outlets
  • Hot tub circuits to NEC 680 with GFCI protection
  • Dedicated AC and furnace circuits

Chapter 04: Outlets & Switches

The pieces you touch every day. New outlets and receptacles, GFCI protection in kitchens, baths, and garages, and dimmers and smart switches matched to the bulbs they control.

  • GFCI wherever code calls for it
  • Smart switches like Lutron Caseta
  • Dead outlets traced to the actual fault

Chapter 05: Lighting & Fans

Recessed and can lights, fixtures inside and out, LED garage lighting, landscape lighting repair, and ceiling and attic fans. A fan hangs from a box rated to carry it, never from a light box.

  • Slim wafer fixtures or traditional cans
  • Landscape lighting: dead fixtures, failed transformers
  • Fan-rated boxes, braced for the load

Chapter 06: Wiring, Repair & Code

Older Denver homes still carry knob-and-tube, cloth-covered, and aluminum wiring. We repair or replace it, run new lines underground by trenching or directional boring, and track down the faults and code violations earlier work left behind.

  • Aluminum wiring: COPALUM crimps or AlumiConn connectors
  • Root cause found before anything is replaced
  • Code violations corrected and signed off

Chapter 07: Life Safety & Surge

Hardwired, interconnected smoke and carbon monoxide detectors installed to NFPA 72, so when one alarms, every unit in the house alarms. Whole-house surge protection mounts at the panel and covers every circuit.

  • Placement on every level, to NFPA 72
  • Interconnected, hardwired units
  • One surge device at the panel for the whole house

  • Tenant improvements and common-area lighting
